In this romantic comedy, two pairs of retirees scheme to get revenge on the boss that stole their pensions by stealing a huge diamond the man has given his girlfriend. First they drug two pairs of guests with champagne, so they can assume their identities and leave the couples bound and gagged in their suites. Later, the scheme goes awry and Kate (Emma Thompson) along with her amicable ex-husband are seen tied together back to back in a van, which is then driven off into the wilds and positioned on cliff. The vehicle is sent lurching backward toward the precipice, but the duo are saved at the last moment by a girl Kate had counseled about marrying the wrong man.
