Gorgeous Kate Beckinsale plays tightly dressed Anna Valerious, the last of distinguished family line who might be the only hope of destroying the evil vampire Dracula, in this amped-up homage to Universal Studios classic monster films. In this clip, the mysterious Van Helsing tries to talk her out of her determination to arm up slay the vampire single-handed as its sheer suicide, but failing that, he knocks her out with a gas gun and she wakes up later in her bed.
