After a narrow scrape wherein visiting Princess Marie nearly drowns in a stream during horse race, she and Princess Calla get kidnapped by Marquis de Bouillabaisse and his thugs. The girls are tied back to back in chairs inside a tent. Some of the Gummi Bears try to rescue the girls, but the attempt is interrupted by the baddies. The Marie charms the Marquis into untying them and they (naturally) make a dash for freedom as the Gummis obligingly drop the tent on top of the kidnappers.
