The Central Intelligence Service recruits the Monkees to capture two foreign spies, Boris and Madame, after Davy unwittingly purchases a pair of red maracas with a hidden microfilm inside. Toward the end of the episode, Madame (Arlene Martel) shows her bosses a tape of the boys goofing around instead of the microfilm and winds up tied in her chair with a wadded white cloth stuffed in her mouth.
