In this episode from a short-lived series about an immortal being, a copycat murderer targets a woman called Frenchman (Rosalind Chao) at her shop, and he stabs our hero in the back with a knife, she's seen tied to a chair, blindfolded with a thick white cloth and gagged with a wrap of tape. He readies a stocking to strangle her, but our wounded hero staggers in and after a fight, both topple down a flight of stairs.
The killer survives the fall (for reasons) goes back up to finish the job, but gets shot and killed by a female detective arriving late on the scene. Our damsel is seen afterward being comforted by the detective as she calls for back-up.
