Patricia Barry plays actress Lana Barnes who is under threat by a mysterious prowler in the midst of her comeback attempt. In this clip, the group of plucky kids investigating the case try to call her about a new bit of evidence they've uncovered, but Lana sits bound and tightly cleave gagged in a chair in her dressing room.
The actress manages to work her way over to the phone, knock it off the cradle and "mmph" into it to summon aid. A policeman (followed by the intrepid youngsters) enters the room, discover it has been trashed, and untie the struggling lady.
