Celebrity Pseudo-Bondage: Christina Aguilera

As part of the advertising blitz for her album Bionic, bosomy songbird Christina Aguilera showed up on the cover and in the pages of Germany's incarnation of GQ Magazine wearing spiked thigh high boots, diamond-studded fishnet opera gloves, metal-studded punk gloves, lingerie (and less) for a few fetishistic shots.

Christina said in an interview: “I’m more confident and comfortable in my own skin. I think I’m even a more sexual Christina. That’s part of the change of having a child for me – seeing your body do these things you never thought possible,” she added. “When you have a baby, you go through a period where your body is not your own. It 's for your child and that’s it. Once you bounce back from that and kind of get your body back … I feel better than ever. It’s a great feeling.”

If there was any inkling that Christina Aguilera is a boring soccer mom, the singer's new jaw-dropping music video has squashed that notion. In her new single, "Not Myself Tonight," the sexy singer sheds her Hollywood glamour facade for a revamped look reminiscent of her "Dirrty" days. Wearing a variety of bejeweled bondage wear, leather undies and latex garb, Aguilera turns her three-minute music video into a montage of fetish gear with props including diamond handcuffs, a collar and a ball gag.

While fondling a lingerie-clad woman shackled by the wrists, Aguilera sings, "I'm out of character, I'm in rare form. And if you really knew me, you'd know it's not the norm.

"Cause I'm doing things I normally wouldn't do. That old me's gone, I feel brand new."

To pump up the shock value, the music video also features some shirtless men dancing in the rain, gyrating bedroom scenes and a steamy group number in a church.

Marking the first release from Aguilera's upcoming album, "Bionic," out June 8, the racy video was directed by Hype Williams, the man responsible for Lady Gaga and Beyoncé's "Video Phone."
