Phyllis Coates portrays intrepid reporter Lois Lane in this episode where some thugs are paying off shopkeepers so they can smash cheap plaster animal statues to look for a hidden key. After accosting her in her apartment, the creeps kidnap Lois back to their headquarters to try and get the key from her. She resists, but a search of her purse locates the key inside a tube of lipstick. They take Lois away bound and gagged in their car to the airport, where they mean to fly off and hold her prisoner in a hidden lodge, but the big blue boy scout intercedes.
*Pictures have been brightened to show more detail. A great classic episode. I love the way women dressed back then, it's a trend that needs to make a comeback. The clip ends abruptly because Superman swoops down, stops the plane and the next we see of Lois, she's back at the Daily Planet happy as a clam. Boring !!*
