The Horror Film 'Train' -or- Well That Was Disappointing....

I try as much as humanly possible to keep my ear to the ground for possible scenes in new upcoming movies. The first poster picture for this movie I saw was on a local Redbox machine, and it looked like Thora Birch was chewing a gag while clawing desperately at a train window.I was deceived though- it's just her hand being held in a weird position close to her face. I'm a fan of Thora Birch and have been since American Beauty.But when I first read about this movie being made I dismissed it as another remake of an 80's horror movie, but then it was announced they were taking the script in a new direction my hope renewed despite the fact it was going straight to DVD.

I should have held onto my disappointment, because they essentially took the plot for Turistas about healthy young people being chopped up for organ transplants and put it onto an East European train. Visceral violence galore and there was a smidgen on bondage for Miss Birch, she gets strapped down briefly to an autopsy table to be raped, but she gets a loose and cuts her assailants throat. :(

Dharma and Greg "It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's my Wife!" *HQ Web Rip*

Jenna Elfman plays Dharma/The Blond Tornado in this brief dream sequence inspired by her husband's on the job stress with a total creep (who now plays the super villain in his dream) as well as Dharma's premiere as a character in a comic book. Greg is stuck to a wall and Blond Tornado arrives to save him. But a briefcase that spews sticky paperwork makes short work of B.T. until a store clerk slides her a rotating chair allowing her to spin herself free.

*A very short very silly scene, offered for completist's sake as well as fans of Jenna Elfman (especially when she's standing around in skin-tight spandex). I used to really like Jenna until I found out she was a shrieking, humorless Scientologist. Such a shame.*

Diagnosis Murder 'Broadcast Blues' *HQ Web Rip*

Bonnie Urseth plays Grace Dunbar in this brief scene where a desperate man takes her captive at gunpoint when he attempts to recover a stolen gem he had hidden inside her house. Fortunately Dr. Sloan and his detective son are on the job, wrapping up the final details of a convoluted murder plot and rescue her. She's found tied to a chair (apparently) in the basement, gagged with a big piece of white tape, but otherwise unharmed.

Saturday Morning Cartoons: Medabots 'The Gimme Ghost' *HQ Web Rip*

In this clip Ikki, Erika, Karin run afoul of haunted forest and mysterious ghost that seems to be after kids Medabots medals. After a few scares, Erika and Karin disappear, leaving their Medabots deactivated but Ikki discovers a battered old cabin where the girls are bound and gagged in the clutches of a black rubber suited gang who are behind the entire haunting. The Phantom Renagade appears as Ikki prepares to combat the gang and saves the girls however.

BF-2 : 'What a Job" *DVD Rip*

Debra Lee returns in this nearly identical barefoot bondage video to its predecessor, fulfilling various damsel in distress roles as she tries to encapsulate what it means to be a bondage model for Harmony. First she's relaxing on the coach when there's a knock, but who ever is there leaves her gagged and bound. After this she's on the floor in a nice swimsuit tied up and over-mouth gagged. Later, she's wriggling chair-tied in a tiny white nightie. Lastly she's tied with stockings and scarf-gagged in the same outfit, but wriggles out of her top at some point.

Captain America Clip #2 *VHS Rip*

Lorna Gray once more plays Gail Richards, this time tracing information about a man found shot dead in his car. She locates his last known employer, a box manufacturer and calls her boss propping open the receiver with her pencil while pretending to take down an address on her notepad. She tries to leave but a returning thug recognizes her and she is captured. He demands she reveal the true identity of captain America, but naturally she refuses so he decides she needs an up close and personal view of the paper cutter. Tied up, Gail stares down the guillotine like blade and refuses to talk. Captain America finally arrives to save her and fight ensues. During the battle, the paper cutter is re-activated and the cutting blade begins its slow rise to the top. The deadly arc of razor-sharp metal hangs for a moment then whistles down at the screaming woman...

Captain America Clip #1 *VHS Rip*

Lorna Gray portrays Gail Richards, the secretary of district attorney Grant Gardner who is aiding him in investigating the mysterious murders committed by the shadowy Scarab. Taking a (fake) vial of poisonous plant extract to various greenhouse keepers to reveal who might be making the deadly concoction, Gail finally finds the criminal responsible when he steadfastly refuses to touch the glass bottle and nearly panics when she drops it. He pulls a gun on Gail and orders her to the back room and has his accomplice tie and gag her. He dials up his boss the Scarab and is ordered to dispose of the girl quickly with the same poisonous plant formula. Shortly thereafter her boss shows up looking for her...
