Lex Luthor's former wife comes looking for revenge, disguised as a therapist, and using a doppelganger to make Lois Lane (played by Teri Hatcher) look insane and suicidal. Toward the end of the episode, she calls up Clark Kent concerned because Lois has said she'll kill herself if she doesn't talk to Superman, but in reality Lois is a bound and cleave-gagged captive.
