In this arachno-centric episode of the PBS series, the kids get pulled into a 1950's science fiction movie to save their pet Liz and encounter various spiders along the way as try to figure out out to trap the giant praying mantis from the movie.
In this first bit, Keesha and Phoebe get stuck in a web before the kids figure out how to save them. Afterward the teacher Ms. Frizzle is delighted to get stuck and wrapped up in the web of another spider, but the kids pull her down before dinner is served. Lastly, Phoebe gets caught in a web of her own making while trying to trap the general who took Liz.
