In this episode of anime Hanasaku Iroha, hot springs hotel waitress trainee Ohana Matsumae pulls a draft written by hotel guest and amateur novelist Tarou Jiroumaru from the trash after cleaning his room, and proceeds to read it. The writer, whose works were inspired by spying on Ohana, learns of her discovery and decides to abduct the young waitress, using a book on shibari to elaborately tie her up. While her co-workers search for her, Ohana not only helps him figure out how to do a tortoise-shell tie, but also gives her opinion on his novel-in-progress. Once found out, Tarou finds that he doesn't have enough rope to tie up the entire hotel staff and hurriedly makes his escape.
