The episode opens with Cyd and Shelby (Landry Bender and Lauren Taylor) strapped to lit-up medical tables in the future lab that they have visited before. They eventually are unstrapped and manage to touch each other and escape into the past, where they intend to stop the evil Janet Smythe from becoming powerful and erecting the lab in the first place. They invade the woman's lab set up in a garage, but the place is festooned with booby-traps. The girls keep trying to get past all the traps, and keep getting caught and time traveling to try again. They end up successively locked in a cage and nearly pressed to death, tied back to back, and then clamped together.
Later, Cyd and Shelby are again captured, and tied to benches with lots of rope in older Janet’s garage workshop. She plans to use some high-tech genetic gizmo to find out how the girls can time travel. Some friends turn up later, to guys and a girl (Marci, played Madison Hu) and get tied up together on a bench side by side.
Cyd winds up in the machine and is nearly destroyed by it, but Shelby rescues her and the girls manage to reset the timeline-- sort of.
