Ida Lupino plays Marigold Tate in this classic romantic comedy, who in this scene is attacked by some old fed-up society women for being a Jezebel. They cart her off and tie her to an old ducking stool and begin ducking her in the pond over and over to teach her a lesson. The shenanigans end when a local reporter our hero snaps some incriminating pictures of the women and he goes to untie the frantic beauty.
